DESCRIPTION:
ELNYW200XX series is a white urethane topcoat that looks and feels like conventional varnish but offers greater flexibility without harmful solvents. This product can be tinted to any off white or pastel colour, the coating is high build and suitable for tough environments like kitchens and baths when used as a 1K product and can also be catalyzed with CAT100-LV hardener to improve adhesion, vertical flow, chemical and mar resistance or crosslinked with CAT150 crosslinker to improve vertical flow, chemical and mar resistance. This product also has excellent levelling and anti-sag properties for vertical applications.
USES:
This product is designed for interior wood finishing applications such as tables, bar tops, cabinetry, furniture, flooring, and millwork.
PRODUCT PREPARATION:
Reduction is not required if spraying through a pump, but the product may be reduced with water or ELRX010 Reducer to improve application characteristics depending on the equipment used. Product should be at room temperature and mixed thoroughly prior to finishing to ensure consistency and gloss.
Note: When used as a 2K product with ELCAT100 the gloss of ELNYW200XX will increase with increasing amounts of the hardener. Using 5% ELCAT100 will increase gloss 4-5 units and using 10% ELCAT100 will increase gloss 9-10 units.
