DESCRIPTION:

EnviroCure 700 is an easy to apply waterborne UV cured clearcoat for use in industrial settings. The product air dries very quickly and can be used with conventional air or IR ovens with minimal flash times. Once the finish is cured under UV lights it is incredibly durable, scratch resistant, stain and chemical resistant and is ready to be packed and shipped immediately.

USES:

Reduction is not required but the product may be reduced with water or ELRX010 Reducer to improve application characeteristics depending on the equipment used. Product should be at room temperature and mixed thoroughly prior to application to ensure consistency and gloss.

PRODUCT PREPARATION:

Reduction is not required when spraying with Air Assisted Airless or Airless, however, adding 3% RX010 reducer or 5-10% water will improve application characteristics when used as a clear coat. Reduction is reccomended for pressure pots, HVLP turbine, conventional cup guns or brush and roll. Product should be at room temperature and mixed thoroughly prior to application to ensure consistency and gloss. Drill mix any soft settling off the bottom of a can is reccomended.

UV CURING:

After physical drying, the product needs to be cured with UV lights. Depending on the types of UV bulbs you have installed these curing recommendations may vary, please talk to your technical sales representative for more information about curing.

Cure500-600mJ UVA when using mercury lamps only
Note:If you are using both mercury and gallium lamps in your curing setup the UVA dose can be much less (250-300mJ as well as 500-800mJ UVB). Please reach out to your technical sales rep. for information.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:

The product itself does not contain any monomeric UV and is safe to be sprayed by hand (as well as machine) but caution should be taken during the curing phase to avoid looking at the UV curing light.
