DESCRIPTION:

ELACW450XX series is a white acrylic topcoat that is designed for mass production, it’s very economical, has a smooth, waxy feel and passes KCMA requirements. It loves heat and can be force cured and dries very fast. It is also suitable for the simplest applications including brushing and rolling. It is very easy to spray without reduction, has exceptional block resistance in as little as two hours in simple air dry conditions and in minutes when using heat to speed up the drying process. This product can be tinted to any light/off-white or pastel colour, has high build and great hiding with one coat coverage. This coating is suitable for tough environments like kitchens and baths when used as a 1K product and can be crosslinked with CAT150 crosslinker to improve chemical and mar resistance. This product has excellent leveling and anti-sag properties for vertical applications and dries very fast eliminating bridging issues.

USES:

This product is designed for interior wood finishing applications such as cabinetry, furniture and millwork.

PRODUCT PREPARATION:

Reduction is not required when spraying with Air Assisted Airless, Airless, pressure pots, HVLP turbine and conventional cup guns but the product may be reduced with water or ELRX010 Reducer if desired or when brusing and rolling to improve leveling. Product should be at room temperature and mixed thoroughly prior to application.
