Welcome to Envirolak University

Envirolak offers professional training classes at Envirolak’s Headquarters as well as remote locations.
These classes are designed to support both new construction and refinishing applications, providing hands-on instruction and practical knowledge for real-world finishing environments.

There are multiple training classes covering various coating systems, including 1K and 2K stain and clear systems, as well as 1K and 2K solid colour systems. Participants will gain a deep understanding of stain, glaze, and toner applications, along with proper formulation techniques. Instruction includes stain matching, solid colour matching, formulating products from scratch, and scaling up batches for production use.

A strong emphasis is placed on surface preparation.
Attendees learn professional degreasing and sanding methods for refinishing, sanding techniques for new construction and between coats, and the differences between pneumatic and electric sanders. Practical tips, tricks, and best practices are shared throughout the course.

Comprehensive spraying techniques are taught using a wide variety of equipment, including Air Assisted Airless systems, piston pumps, diaphragm pumps, pressure pots, airless sprayers, cup guns, HVLP turbines, and brush and roll applications.

Drying and curing methods are also covered, ranging from simple air-dry conditions to the use of electric infrared heaters.
Advanced instruction includes production-level drying and curing using SunSpot catalytic IR heaters in controlled environments.
